Last week I was taking my Global Branding course. One part of the course was a group project where we had to create a product with a brand and marketing concept. Our project chose Phu Quoc fish sauce. As we got our creative juices flowing, I was pulling pictures from last year’s Phu Quoc trip to possibly use for our presentation. Now I can’t stop thinking about Phu Quoc island.
Our stay at the Chen La Resort was amazing. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. Our bungalow was equipped with a jacuzzi patio, an indoor/outdoor shower, and an excellent nightly turn down service with white wine the first night.
During the day we explored the island with a rented motorbike to lay out on Bai Sao Beach (first picture above), which also had fresh seafood made to order like this Lemongrass crusted fish.
We did have a couple of meals at Chen La. Their open air restaurant was intimate with a great view of the property, which includes an infinity pool and private beach.
When we went to the other side of the island, we walked on this long stretch of concrete dock that could be even seen out the airplane window when we were heading back home. The seafood restaurant right next to the dock had yummy satay crab.
Phu Quoc is a definite must go beach destination in Vietnam.
