A short weekend hop to Singapore meant trying to squeeze shopping, eating, and a wedding in 48 hours. One of the best treats to take away with you to enjoy Singapore a little longer at home is the Pandan Chiffon Cake from Bengawan Solo. We reserved 2 boxes from Takashimaya when we found out the Ion Orchard outlet didn’t have any, and speed walked our way over there.
The fluffy goodness is light as air. I have not experienced any other chiffon cake compare to the likes of the delicate softness of Bengawan Solo’s Pandan. We enjoy it chilled and as is to not distract away from the fragrant Pandan flavors in every bite.
